WHY RURAL EDUCATION AND SOCIAL COMPREHENSIVE DEVELOPMENT (RESCOD-GHANA)

“For the vision of yet for an appointed time and it hastens to the end (fulfillment); It will not deceive or disappoint though it tarries, wait (earnestly) for it, because it will surely come; It will not be behind land on its appointed day”_ Habakkuk 2:3 (The Amplified Bible)

This therefore brings to four, the number of administrative sectors in the organization, Education, etc.  This strategic move is in line with the organization vision of “             “

It will be amazing to note that from a humble beginning with strength of (7) staff lines will surly grow under the visionary headship of Chairman Mr. Mohammed-Sadat Fuseini and by the grace of the Most High to an organization that has over program line and staff strength of 14 including different country coordinators.  Wholes there appear to be population sedimentation in the country.  RESCOD-GHANA is on the path of strategic development by capillarity spread from down South ward to up North.  This is to ensure that ready availability of equity education deliverance to over 13 children.

COMMITMENT TO MILLENNIUM DEVELOPMENT GOAL               NUMBER SIX (6)

Although the organization Target root beneficiary portfolio range:  Education etc. it is clear that RESCOD-GHANA is a trailblazer.  This is because we are been almost always the first to introduce a fundraising within our own people in Africa and adopted poverty Eradication from the UNICEF.

RESCOD GHANA is therefore committed to United Nations’ vision of combating poverty by the year 2015 as Stated in point six (6) of the Millennium Development Goals.

Our direction is hinged on the UNICEF intergraded approach to poverty and diseases control which includes; Curative therapy of Artemisinin – based Combination Treatment (ACT) for uncomplicated Malaria.  Use of intramuscular Altemether in severe Malaria.  Use of the parathyroid to prevent Mosquito bite, Micro Fania, Good government, etc.

RESCOD GHANA’S STRATEGIC APPROACH

The three (3) strategic decision points that prompted the establishment of the organization at the heart of Tamale is enshrined in what term the A – cubed (a3) approach: accessibility, Affordability and Availability.

Accessibility: This is because facilities ranging form hospitals. Clinics, Schools, Orphanage home, Women and Children among others will have unhindered access to qualified services and partnership in social responsibility to the community through Donation amongst others.

Affordability:  Which is the strongest of decision points, stems from the vision of the organization to provide quality education, health and many more to the community as captured in over vision statement.  Secondly the dependency of ration of the sum of the number of children below 15 years and adult above 64 years of the persons between 15 and 64 year is 55% on the average in this part of the country.

Is in the light of this that RESCOD GHANA is supporting the vision of the country in the providing qualities education and health care through the support of our Donors, with the provision and supply of high Donation and support to women and children.

Availability:  Though well-dedicated support to the organization. RESCOD-GHANA is well prepared to ensure that services are readily available to the target roof Facilities in the Northern Districts covered by Upper Sector

Despite the global battle against Economic scrunch in recent times of which the Northern Region are the most affected in Ghana, we are determined to go full length to ensure our service are delivered in this part of the country.

CONCLUSION:  In conclusion I will want to state that if for nothing at all.  RESCOD-GHANA has come to stay with much emphasis on partnership with some world wide organization through Ministers, Companies, Clubs and related organizations to combat the poverty and Diseases in this part of the country.
